Really enjoying this track from Local Natives this summer, great tune and the chanted chorus/guitar wig out section about half-way through is a lot of fun if turned up loud enough.

I have been listening to this album non-stop for the best part of a month now. Took a little while to appreciate all the tracks but there are some gems. The title track (below) is a particular favourite as is The Fireman and Things Left Behind.

CARL SAGAN & COSMOS

You can watch episode one of Carl Sagan's Cosmos for free on Youtube. This is one of my all time favourite TV series; brilliantly conceived, poetically phrased, and presented & explained so clearly and with real charm and warmth which is only charactured in modern sci-fact programmes. Carl was a one off and this was only a small part of his huge contribution to science throughout his lifetime.
